I make ceramic objects that embody an ongoing dialogue between the materials and their surroundings.
Together with my heritage, these dialogues feed my creative process through the combination of ceramic craftsmanship traditions, sustainability and innovative material exploration. Going on site to find materials —whether these are in their raw natural state from nature or waste from the different surrounding industries— creates a bond with the environment. Getting familiar with a new place and making it into a home, whether in Colombia, England or Bornholm, allows me to take ownership of my dialogue with that geographic area.
