Artist statement 

For me, Glass-Lace is a melding of tradition, craft, technique, fantasy and challenge. When I started to work with glass and combined it with the bobbin lace technique, a completely new world of possibilities opened up for me. Suddenly, I was not constrained by the limitations of the thread and the bobbin lace technique. Lace in glass increases what is possible with shape and pattern.
